My
Story: Suzanne Smith Sager
I was married to
William G. Sager on October 5, 1957 and lived for the first 15 years in
and around Rochester. We moved with 3 children (all girls) to
Trumansburg and had one more child, a boy, and have lived in and around
here since then.
I went to work at Cornell
University in 1976 and retired from there in 1998 after 22 1/2 years. I
was divorced in 1987 after almost 30 years of marriage. I keep very busy
with family, church and senior citizen activities. I love to travel and
do every chance I get.
Daughter: Susan M. Sager, married
in 1990 to James Cole they live in Cicero and have 2 children; Brandon 7
(soon to be 8) and Bridgette 6. They are both very active in sports and
things in their school.
Daughter: Donna L. Sager, married
in 1984 to R. Wayne Sprouse, they live in Oxford Mississippi (after
living for the 1st 7 years in San Diego) where Wayne was in the Navy. He
was originally from Mississippi and they moved there when he got out of
the service. They also
have 2 children; Raleigh age 15 (soon to be 16) and Raechael 10. They
are also very active Raleigh plays football and is in ROTC in his school
and Raechael is very active in gymnastics.
Daughter: Janet , is a professional
Landscape Architect and graduated from Syracuse University in 1990 with
a degree in Landscape Architecture and is currently living in Sacramento
CA and is employed by California Department of Transportation.
Son: James, married in 1990 to
Catherine Avant and they have a son Aaron Tyler 3 1/2 years old and
lived until just last May in Oxford, Mississippi. They moved back to the
Trumansburg area to be near family and I have a hands on with my
youngest grandchild.
